Talking Cold Cases with Warmth

Cold case blogger Alice de Sturler shows how she organizes.

Tonight's final Writers Series class of the year was a dandy, quite a bit better and different from what I expected. Alice de Sturler, a cold case blogger, was the teacher and the class was small and intense.

I had little idea what to expect from Alice, other than that she was going to talk about blogging in general and cold cases in particular, but the students pretty well directed--and took active part--in the conversation.

The class was an unqualified success. We're taking off November and December and the Roanoke Regional Writers Conference, which sponsors the Writers Series is scheduled Jan. 24-25 at Hollins University. Hope to see you there.
