Photo(s) of the Day: Construction Fun at 9th Street Bridge

The 9th Street Bridge is out for a few months, but it makes for a good view of the sky.
This sign is on the crane.
The 9th Street Bridge over the Roanoke River is gone for a while, but the construction work gives us something new to look at as we walk the greenway.

Even the construction equipment can be curious. The sentiment at the left (misspelling Mayor David Bowers's last name) is typical construction worker hi-jinks and, but I'm not quite sure what it means. Is this an art reference?

Anyhow, interesting stuff.

Here's the crane and the guy in the basket having a ... uh ... ball.
