'Wish You Well' Screen Set in Blacksburg

Ellen Burstyn stars in 'Wish You Well'

My buddy Sara Elizabeth Timmins' new film "Wish You Well," based on the book by David Baldacci, will have its cast and crew community screening Oct. 17, 6-9 p.m. at the Lyric Theatre in Blacksburg.

The movie, which follows Sara Elizabeth's "Lake Effects," which was set at Smith Mountain Lake, was filmed in Giles County--near Blacksburg--in 2012. You can reserve seats here. "Wish You Well" stars Academy Award winner Ellen Burstyn.
