Photos of the Day: An Undefeated Season (Yay, Mads!)

Maddie's swim team, the Hunting Hills Houndogs, won its championship last night by more than 300 points over Stone Gate of Salem, finishing the season undefeated.

Next is the City/County meet in two weeks and Maddie has qualified in at least three events. A year ago the kid couldn't swim. I'm proud of her. The swim team has been a blessing on a number of levels and I highly recommend it as a sport for children (unlike some of the ball sports that I played growing up).
