Goodwill, Ken Farmer Team Up for Appraisal Event

Here's your chance. Goodwill Inudstries is sponsoring an appraisal event at the Hollins Goodwill store (corner of Williamson Road and Peters Creek Road) 1-3 p.m. May 11 featuring Ken Farmer of KFAuctions and Appraisals in Radford. Farmer is a regular on the popular "Antiques Road Show" on PBS.

Space is limited to the first 80 people to register (one item per person) and registration is required by May 4. Take your item to Goodwill's Hollins store along with a $10 donation to register. There will be no appraisals of dolls, coins, stamps, currency or guns.

On the day of the event, tickets will be given out at 12:30 p.m. for those who are registered. If any tickets remain, they will be given out at 1:30.
