Here's my grandgirl Madeline (right) with her pal Emma a few minutes after they swam the breast stroke for Hunting Hills Swim Club at Stonegate Swim Club in Salem yesterday. Emma won the heat and Maddie was third, but both were disqualified for some technical glitch, which is what 7-year-olds do. They went straight back to playing without a hitch.
