Virginia Republicans Try to Force Prayer in School, Elsewhere

-- Claire Guthrie Gastanaga, ACLU of Virginia on a bill introduced in the Virginia Senate that would ultimately produce an amendment to the state constitution permitting government-sponsored Christian prayer in school and at government meetings. Try to remember that nobody has banned or tried to ban prayer in school. It's just public prayer that coerces young minds to take part that is banned. Anybody can pray any time he chooses.
