Here's my best girl (and brother Oz) in her new school uniform. She's attending British School in Cordoba, Spain."British School" does not mean "school for the British," I'm told. Mostly the kids are Spanish and they're learning English by immershing themselves in it for the entire school day.
The Tartan plaid in Maddie's uniform is appropriate, since she has two clans (Buchanans and McCourrys) on my side of the fam. Not sure what's there on her maternal side.
Anyhow, here she is. Settled in.

ReplyDeleteNot that I know of. One of Madeline's great-great-great grandmothers was a Spence (from the Big Island area of Bedford) and another was a Caldwell from the Botetourt/Craig area. But I think it's kind of cool that the Spences are somehow connected to the MacDuffs. I can't figure out what clan Maddie's tartan is. But it sure looks good on her.
