Question of the Day: OK, So Who's Really Leading?

Kaine (properly on the left) and Allen
Last week, we reported (here) that George Allen had an eight point lead over Tim Kaine in the political race for Virginia's vacant Senate seat, according to a Roanoke College poll.

Now comes this:

"A new NBC News/Marist poll shows Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Timothy M. Kaine with a 9-point lead over Republican rival George Allen and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney with a commanding lead over Texas Rep. Ron Paul heading into Tuesday’s Republican presidential primary."

Who's a body to believe?

  1. Well now, what difference does it really make? What counts is who is ahead when the votes are counted on November 6, 2012. Of course, it is fun to watch the race.

  2. Chip: My guess is that we've ("we" being newsies) become so enamored of the race that we forget the substance (as if George Allen has any).
