When I left Roanoke yesterday at 4:30 for the drive to Floyd for dinner, it was 99.6 degrees on my deck. That dropped about 15 degrees just about the minute I passed Cave Spring on the way down Va. 221. My friends Sarah Beth and Rob Jones fed a bunch of us on their deck just outside Floyd and the food and the company and the air temp were simply superb. Thank you, lovely people.
