My favorite doc. |
My doc. I brag about Renee Beirne about once a day to somebody. Of course I'm in love with her and it has nothing to do with the fact that facially she is a dead ringer for my favorite ex-wife Kathryn. That's just coincidence. The fact that she is caring, loving, generous, kind, and an extremely talented physician come to the center of the testimonial.
Renee practices internal medicine and is also an assistant professor at the Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute, one of the best institutions to be built in Roanoke ever.
She's is young, but she practices 19th Century medicine in the sense that she's there, she listens, she hears and she coaches me in ways I'd never expect from a general practitioner. She's a cheerleader when I need one and my mom when I need that part of her (she is a mother).
I see her in about an hour so we can talk about my little adventure with TMI last week and my guess is I will come out of our consultation feeling like a challenger getting ready for a title fight. She gives me confidence and I will say without reservation that upon occasion, Renee has helped me do things I didn't know I could.
That's a doc, boys and girls. I wish one on you.
