What's Wrong With Our System: Part XXXVIII

The following is from Andy Stern of the Georgetown Policy Institute. It appeared here today:

"Rather than a strength … pluralism [is] a weakness of American democracy. The sum of all the group interests in a pluralist system … does not equal the general interest. Rather than allowing for dynamic development, pluralism has institutionalized individual, and group greed.”
