'NINE' Has Great Promise on Hollins Stage

My buddy Ernie Zulia of the theater department at Hollins University will present "Nine" beginning tomorrow night (Wednesday) and my guess is that this is another of his "can't miss" productions. Even though Ernie is working with student actors and crew, his productions consistently are at least the equal of even the professional theater that is available in the Roanoke Valley.

And the price is always right.

Here's the rundown:

"NINE" was inspired by Federico Fellini’s 1960’s cinematic masterpiece, "8½" and it sweeps you into the glamour of “cinema Italiano,” while capturing all the exciting ingredients of a great Broadway musical. Travel through the imagination of genius filmmaker, Guido Contini with 20 women who find him exasperating, annoying and utterly irresistible.

"NINE" plays the Hollins Theatre Main Stage Wednesday April 13-16, 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday April 17at 2 p.m. It's free to the Hollins community, $10 for the rest of us.
