- Federal tax receipts are at their lowest level in 60 years when measured as a share of the economy.
- Those younger than 30 and older than 65 are most likely to say taxes are fair.
- Eighty-five percent of individuals get tax refunds this year, averaging $3,000. (Forty-five percent of those people plan to invest the money.)
