My friend Janeson Keeley has a wonderful idea (here) about how many of us can spend that urge to help others at Christmas. Hers is not a traditional notion of filling stockings for poor children, but one that is very close home to many of us (including moi). It involves Catawba Hospital and the often helpless, lonely and devastated patients whose lives involve considerable dispair. I urge you to consider her request.
