Here's my buddy Sonya, who's a pretty damn good paddler, hat and all, at Carvins Cove.

My pal Sonya Chappalear, whose wheels stay on the highway, just got back form a road trip and wanted to paddle for the first time since she's been in Virginia. So we went out to the Carvins Cove reservoir today and she proved to be quite accomplished.
