The Consequences of an Empty 'Fridge

Because I grew up poor, when empty refrigerators were the norm, I've spent my adult years overcompensating. I've almost always had far too much food in the house. Not today. This is my 'fridge after yesterday's purge. I took the frozen food to my son's house Monday afternoon and dumped everything--except some pickles, olives and condiments--yesterday. It's a lonely place in that 'fridge.

My guess, though, is that I'll drop a little weight this week. One can hope.
