Elizabeth Warren Strikes a Blow for Student Loans

Elizabeth Warren was once a student.
This goes in the file marked "Elizabeth Warren Is a God":

She wants students to get the same loan from the Fed (.075 percent) that big banks get. The loan percentage rate for student loans are on the verge of doubling to 6.8 percent, but the Massachusetts freshman Senator wants to send those rates the other way.

Warren, a former Harvard professor, has been in office but a few months and has already made more of an impact than most of the rest of the Senate--which seems content to play with itself--combined.

Here's the story on the student loans.
