Yesterday marked opening day of the swimming season for my grandfish Maddie, who did some nice work in her HHCC Houndogs' massive victory over Roanoke Country Club and Vinton Area Swim Club, doubling the score of RCC and nearly tripling Vinton. Among those scoring bunches of points was Annette Patterson in the over 40 category. Annette can usually be counted on for a lot of points. Her daughters love watching her and eight-year-old Ella scores some points, herself.
