A Content Evening on the Cove

The sun has just gone behind the hill overlooking the cove. Beautiful.

Rhonda shot this of me with the sun behind the kayak, going down
My buddy Rhonda had just asked if I'd ever been on Carvins Cove at dawn with the mist rising and then she said, "I don't think there's a time of day when I don't like being here. Every time is special. It's just so beautiful."

Yes, it is. Tonight was a good example. We started paddling at 6:15 this evening and loaded our boats after the sun had sunk behind the hills. The water was beautifully choppy in a steady wind and the sun was bright until it hid behind the mountains. The fading light became yellow, then purple. Simply lovely.
This is Rhonda with the sun behind her, looking content.
