Throwback: Hey, 'Cuda for Dinner, Y'all!

This is your favorite editr in 1979 out to sea somewhere near Bimini in the Bahamas. Bimini is where Ernest Hemingway spent a good bit of time and it is just about the coolest tiny island I've ever visited.

The fish here is a barracuda, which became part of dinner. We caught another, filleted them, marinated them in lime juice for 20 minutes and baked the fillets. The barracuda tasted like small mouth bass.

I will mention that the 'cuda is on its way toward smacking the guy in the foreground in the head. That's why I'm smiling--that and the beer.
