Naked Women and Lots of Rancor on GOP Opening Night

100 women posed nude outside the Cleveland site of the GOP convention yesterday.
OK, it was not unexpected: the GOP opening night was a weird circus, highlighted by a bell-ringer of a featured speech, some of which was plagiarized from the wife of the sitting president. The headlines from various sources in today's media are scrumptious.

But, for my money, the highlight of a lowlight convention was the gathering outside of 100 brave women, stark naked and holding round mirrors to reflect the sun, protesting the whole dealie. They say the protest was to "reflect [their] anger." (You can see the video here. If you're a prude, don't go; the women are really naky-naky.)

Here are some of the headlines I especially liked (and remember, this was just opening night):

-Rancor Reigns as bitterly divided Republicans Begin Their Convention
-GOP Convention Speakers Declare Everything is Awful, Then Go on To Prove It
-Melania Trump Plagiarized Her Convention Speech from Michelle Obama
-Benghazi Roars to the Fore on Trump's First Convention Night
-A GOP Congressman Just Made An Argument For White Supremacy On Live TV
-Republican Convention Roars Approval Of Baltimore Officer’s Acquittal In Freddie Gray Death
-Misogyny Is a big Seller Outside the Republican National Convention
-State Delegations Walk Out on Trump
-Mike Pence Says Disney Made ‘Mulan’ To Promote Women In Combat
-GOP Delegate Reports Violent Threats from Trump Supporters
-RNC’s ‘Women Vote Trump’ Event Fails To Attract Many Women
-Rocky Opening for GOP Convention as Cruz Forces Clash With Team Trump

Take that, GOP? (The only reflection you'll see at the convention.)
