Keeping Busy in Downtown Roanoke

These boys were practicing their fly fishing casting behind City Market Building.
Rappelling at the Patrick Henry Hote.l
Yesterday, Roanoke was a hotspot if you were looking for something interesting to do.

The headliner, of course, was Local Colors in Elmwood Park, but right across the street at the Patrick Henry Hotel, climbers were rappelling off the roof and a few blocks away on City Market, fly fishermen were learning the delicacy of the cast.

On the other side of town and later in downtown, there were bicycle races and adult Big Wheel races. And, as the movie people say, there was much more.
