How Right-Wing Propaganda Created GOP Nightmare

O'Reilly: $100 million a year.
Ever wonder how the right-wing noise machine--created by the Reagan administration, which killed the Fairness Doctrine broadcast rule--managed to appropriate the Republican Party and give us Trump-Cruz for President?

According to Cody Caine, a HuffingftonPost columnist, in this explanation of the right-wing media's power, the following is the state of the Republican Party's base:

"Rush Limbaugh raked-in $80 million for himself in 2015 alone. Sean Hannity was paid $30 million. Glenn Beck is personally worth over $100 million. Bill O’Reilly’s television show, 'The O’Reilly Factor,' generates over $100 million per year in advertising revenue.
"Fox News ... reportedly earns over $1 billion in profits annually ... Fox [has]  sales of over $13 billion. And the tycoon behind Fox News, Rupert Murdoch, is personally worth $12 billion."

Caine points out other successful right-wing propaganda campaigns of the last 80 years in Nazi Germany, Rwanda, Bosnia and the like, but it is not likely any was as well funded as this one.
