Shhhhh: Tickets Remain at MMT for Motown

Close your eyes and 40 years will disappear March 11 and 12 at MMT.
Hey boys and girls (of the 1960s and '70s) if you're a fan of the Motown Sound, then you will want to see its revival at Mill Mountain Theatre--and you can. There are tickets remaining and my guess is that's the case because everybody assumed the two performances would sell out in six minutes ... like Bill Bryson did at Hollins for Saturday's performance.

But you're in luck and if you get your fingers speeding on that cell phone, you would well get in for this marvy event. Here's the press release on the concert:

The Music of Motown comes to Mill Mountain Theatre in less than one week and we have a limited number of tickets still available.
After sold out shows in 2015, The Music of Motown will kick off the 2016 season on Friday. For two nights only, more than 30 hits and medleys will be performed by a cast of entertainers on March 11 and 12.

The Music Series resembles an informal concert that features various styles of music ranging from country to classical to pop. On performance night, beverages will be available for purchase from the bar beginning at 6:30 p.m. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. with the show beginning promptly at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are available by calling the Center in the Square box office at (540) 342-5740 or by clicking on the button below.
Start making your plans now to attend Mill Mountain Theatre's first premier performance of the season, Smokey Joe's Café, a musical revue featuring the hit songs of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller.  Take a trip down memory lane while enjoying selections originally performed by The Coasters, Elvis, the Shangri-Las, and more. If you can't make it to The Music of Motown next week, Smokey Joe's Café will give you the opportunity to enjoy even more of those popular rock, R&B, soul and Motown hits of the Fifties and Sixties. Purchase your tickets today for Smokey Joe's Café, a musical revue running April 27 through May 8
